Burtons FCW Res 1-3 AFC West End
Impressive West End Complete Burtons Double
AFC West End produced arguably their best performance of the season to see off a Burtons Reserves side who for the first twenty minutes of their clash at Sobroan, wouldn’t have believed it possible that they would end the game without all three points. An early goal put West End on the ropes and the game was in danger of passing them by, a couple of breaks that exploited Dan Hill’s pace were all AFC could offer with Burtons taking control of the game.
AFC West End 1-1 Cross AFC
Cross Snatch Point From Resurgent West End

With their frustrating defeat still fresh in the memory a resurgent west End set about Cross from the first minute intent on proving they could cause problems for the top side.
Dan Hill

Debut – 11/03/2007 vs Lincolnshire Co-op
Appearances – 63 (10th Highest Appearance Maker)
Goals – 19 (7th Highest Appearance Maker)
Top Goalscorer – (2007/2008)
Goal of the Season – (2009/2010) & (2010/11)
After a brief cameo as a holding midfielder in the 2006-2007 season the Hill became followed where many former 4th team graduates had trodden before when he signed for West End in August 2007. Traditionally at home out wide or as a striker the Hill finished the his first season as AFC West End’s top scorer netting eleven goals; including a hat-trick against Trent Valley. Despite his height (which is so vast he has previously been declared as a unit of measurement) Hill’s main threat comes with the ball at his feet, particularly when moving at pace. The 2008-2009 season saw the Hill make his first foray into management as he steered West End onto the path towards their second ever promotion, and he also invented a new position, coming off the bench to play ‘horizontal midfield’ away at Plough Inn Sturton.
